TNT's Red Herrings against Korruption

Red Herrings...Hmmm!!!

“Korruption” vs   Revelations during recent sitting of the House of Representatives

Even while President General Ancel Roget of the Oilfields Workers Trade Union (OWTU) led the Joint Trade Union Movement's (JTUM) national march against "Korruption", our PM used Parliament privileges to suggest that he is not above board when it comes to corruption.

Interestingly though, corruption is on everyone's mind, but whether Roget is guilty of the said statements or not, does not negate the fact that corruption has to be dealt with in the Nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Especially in light of the sliding of the Corruption Index and its impact on international business negotiations.

No Red Herrings Please!!! Let us stay focus on the matter at hand. We must address corruption at all levels. It is imperative!!!

"Getting it Right?" is of the view that Parliament Privileges should only be used when the greater good would be served to the majority and not as a political propaganda to divert people's focus away from the true issue under consideration, which is "Corruption".

Did Parliament get it Right??? Nope!!!
